Tata Motors Group has reported a 5.14% drop in global wholesales during the month of May 2014 as against May 2013 when the company sold 81,783 units. Tata Motors global wholesales which includes Jaguar Land Rover dropped to 77,575 units in May 2014.

This new engine plant is being planned so as to increase their footprint in what is termed as one of the leading auto markets and fastest growing economies in the world.
