New Mahindra Scorpio has been launched in Nepal with a starting price of NPR 2.57 million, or Rs 22.14 lakhs.
Mahindra has unveiled Adventure Edition of Thar off-roader, production of which is limited to only 30 units, to be sold through select dealerships. Price of same is not revealed yet, only specs and features are uncovered.
Mahindra has initiated development of a quadricycle that will rival Bajaj RE 60 involving an investment of Rs. 100 to 150 crores. RE 60′s first rival will take a minimum of 24 months to develop, launch is expected in 2017.
Mahindra U301 (next gen Bolero) and Mahindra S101 (new compact SUV) have been spied together. Spied testing in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, the U301 was heavily camouflaged but details of its new dashboard have been revealed.
Anand Mahindra has revealed that in the future, Mahindra and Mahindra plans to launch new hybrid cars in India and other countries. Helping them achieve this, will be their experience with Reva Electric Car company, (which is now owned by Mahindra) and competing in Formula E – the first and only electric car racing championship in the world.
Slated for launch sometime in 2015, Mahindra S101 SUV has been actively spied testing across India. Now, it has been spotted along side Maruti Swift hatchback, giving us an approximate idea as to how tall the S101 is.
Mahindra took time and readied 5,000 units of new Scorpio SUV before launch, to keep waiting period at minimum. Thus far, despite the outburst of bookings, waiting period has not risen to overwhelming levels for any variant.
