Maruti Alto 800 booking open: New small car for India coming this month

Maruti Suzuki brings in their new small car, Alto 800 well in time to capture the attention of buyers ahead of the festive season in India. The car will be officially launched this month and the company has already opened their order books to take in pre launch bookings for Alto 800. Maruti has however yet to confirm whether they will be selling the new Alto 800 alongside their earlier Alto 800 model or not.

The new model when compared to the earlier version possesses higher torque and its interior space too is enhanced while rear seat passengers are provided with 23 mm of additional leg room. It has also been established that Alto 800 will be 15% more fuel efficient and according to ARAI this figure will stand at 22.74 kmpl when running on petrol while it goes upto 30.46 km per kg when running on CNG.

Prelaunch bookings are open even though final prices of the Alto 800 have not been revealed. This experts say should begin in a sub Rs.2 lakh category. The new version will also possess a new exterior design with well upholstered interiors while a host of safety features have been added.
