McLaren’s new 650S is being offered in both Coupe and Spider and is priced at RM 2.4 million (INR 4.44 crores) and RM 2.6 million (INR 4.81 crores) respectively. As its very name suggests, the 650S will receive a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine offering peak power output of 650PS at 7,250 rpm and 678 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm.
Though mated to the same seven speed dual clutch transmission as seen on the now discontinued MP4-12C, performance has been stepped up to offer more enhanced shifts. Top speed of the Coupe is at 333 kmph while that of the Spider is at 329 kmph, marginally slower due to its folding hard top. McLaren has equipped the new 650S with a host of safety and comfort features to include parking sensors, reverse camera, electrically heated seats and dual zone climate control.
Apart from this, Malaysia also welcomed in Swedish supercar maker, Koenigsegg in a new agreement signed with Naza Swedish Motors. This range of cars will be distributed and marketed both in Malaysia and Indonesia. Naza Swedish Motors plans new showrooms and service centres will be set up for display and sales of Koenigsegg Agera S which will come in at a base price of RM4.3 million (INR 7.96 crores).
The new Agera S will be powered by a twin turbo 5.0 liter V8 engine capable of 1030 hp at 7,100 rpm and 1100 Nm torque at 4,100 rpm. Agera S will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.9 seconds and to a top speed of 300 kmph in 22.7 seconds.
