McLaren MP4-12C limited edition under Project Alpha (Photos)

The McLaren MP4-12C is a sports car that was fully designed and built by McLaren Automotive since the McLaren F1. Keeping this in mind, McLaren has revealed details about their limited edition MP4-12C to AutoBlog. The McLaren MP412C Project Alpha is limited to just 6 units, all of which will be sold via McLaren dealer in Chicago.

Project Alpha McLaren Mp412C sports cars have stylish bits and pieces that have been incorporated within them to make them look special and exotic. These cars have all possible upgrades which include a fully loaded 616 hp engine which is the standard upgrade on the 2013 McLaren MP4-12C. A revised shift and throttle logic and a retuned exhaust are some of the features of these Project Alpha cars. The exteriors of these cars boast of a superb paint job, addition of carbon fiber rear vents and front fender louvers.

The interiors have the badging on the drivers side while branding of ‘Project Alpha’ makes it clear that these cars are for the select few. There are two cars designed in the similar color. The cars will sell for approximately $335,000 and four of the six examples have already been booked.
