Mercedes Benz A Class caught testing in Pune

The new A Class was premiered at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. Later in June, Mercedes Benz stated that the new A Class has been priced at €23,978.50 (incl. 19% VAT or Rs 17.17 lakhs) for the A 180 BlueEFFICIENCY and it is available to order with immediate effect. Ever since, the order books opened, Mercedes Benz has received over 90,000 bookings for the new A Class, and that too just from Europe.

Mercedes Benz has not launched the A Class yet, not even in the US, which is one of their biggest consumer. Mercedes Benz India has already announced plans of launching the new A Class in India by next year. Mercedes Benz A Class was caught testing by Super Cars, Super Bikes & Exotics In Pune. Mercedes Benz India is yet to reveal the specs of India bound A Class.

“A is for Attack: the A-Class is a clear statement of the new dynamism of thecMercedes-Benz brand”, explains Dr Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars. “It is completely new, down to the last detail. In automotive development, it’s not often you get the chance to start with a clean sheet of paper. Our engineers and designers have made the very most of that opportunity.”
