Nissan explains Navara in a new video
The 2015 Nissan Navara pick-up truck was unveiled in Thailand earlier this wee. Now, Nissan has revealed a new video, explaining their new Navara. Built for the present day customer with modern styling and no compromise on any front, the new Navara is seen with Nissan’s V – Motion design language and a host of safety features.
2015 Nissan Navara boasts of a body with extensive chrome accents, LED daytime running lights and two new exterior paint colors. Interiors are seen in full black or with dual tones of beige while the new dash is with silver and chrome inserts. The new Navara possesses an instrument console with TFT display projecting a turn-to-turn navigation support and full fuel economy indicator. A state of the art touchscreen with multimedia infotainment system is also seen on board the 2015 Navara.
Being presented in various body styles such as narrow, wide, king and double cab bodies, safety features will abound on board the Nissan Navara. These will include standard ABS, EBD, Airbags along with exclusive safety features such as Vehicle Dynamic Control, Active Brake Limited Slip, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control.
Power to the new Navara comes from 2.5 liter petrol and diesel engines. The diesel engine is in two states of tunes to include 163 PS and 403 Nm and 190 PS and 450 Nm. This engine is mated to either 6 speed manual or 7 speed automatic gearbox. Petrol engine is also in the form of a 2.5l turbocharged four cylinder.
Sales of the 2015 Navara is expected to start from later this year when it will come in to take on rivals such as the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavor, Isuzu MU-7 and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.
