Harley Davidson Project LiveWire Experience tour across US commenced at NYC
Harley Davidson Project LiveWire bikes are going on an Experience tour throughout the United States of America till the end of 2014. Tour started at New York City (NYC) on 24th June. Bikers will be stopping at dealerships or places of interest in 30 cities to demonstrate the first ever electric chopper by Harley.
Enthusiasts can get a chance to test ride the Project LiveWire at stop spots of each city. Full schedule is yet to be made public; here is a list of first few stops.
Project LiveWire Experience & Test Rides:
Tuesday, June 24 – Wednesday, June 25, 2014 – New York Dealership
Thursday, June 26 – Sunday, June 29, 2014 – Harley Davidson Museum, Milwaukee, WI
Friday, June 27 – Sunday, June 29, 2014 – Boston Harley Davidson, MA
Thursday, July 17 – Saturday, July 9, 2014 – Brian’s Harley Davidson, Philadelphia, PA, US
Harley would take test ride feedbacks from riders of each city pretty seriously as the Wisconsin based company considers this tour as market research. Launch that is expected to take place in 2016 could be dependent on what the company learns from this Project LiveWire Experience Tour.
Cynical comments about the new Harley’s sound are already loud, but there is a bunch who claim to like it. Check out Harley Davidson Project LiveWire’s riding sound here.
Harley Davidson’s Chief Marketing Officer Mark-Hans Richer said Project LiveWire is more like the first Electric Guitar, not an Electric Car. He considers the jet like sound of LiveWire a distinct part of the thrill.
