Red Bull Racing Can sees Flying Pistons from St. Andrew’s College Mumbai win

In a test of skills, auto enthusiasts from Mumbai colleges came together to showcase their engineering and designing skills. Participants used the Red Bull cans to show their prowess and powered by radio controlled motors creates the fastest can on wheels. Flying Pistons were students from St Andrew’s College in Mumbai represented by Rhett Rego and Daniels D’souza.

These two youngsters will now go on to represent Mumbai in the finals which will take place in October 2012 and will compete against other students from Pune, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad. Two more teams in the top three positions were Blitzkrieg and Black. From there the winning team will contend with participants from 24 other nations in the Red Bull Racing Can finals to be held in Brazil.

The competition is not only to project the fastest can but also for the can with the coolest design and the steadiest performance and hence competitors were seen ensuring that their cans had all the advantages to ensure recognition of this unique and exciting competition.
