Renault Duster next gen rendered
French automakers Renault owned subsidiary, Dacia launched Duster internationally in 2010. It arrived in India in July 2012 under the Renault nameplate. Ever since its launch, the Duster has been making waves across the SUV sector bringing in extensive sales for the company, even crossing the 1 million milestone in April 2014.
Following a 7 year cycle, the next gen Duster is expected sometime in 2017. It will continue with the same design as seen on its current generation model which is noted for its functionality and sound design language.
The upcoming Duster will see design modifications where its headlight and grille is concerned while tail light and bootlid are also slated for a makeover. The overall design will also be refreshed to tackle competition especially since the Ford EcoSport is also heading for a refresh.
The second generation Duster SUV will see added interior space and a host of safety equipments while interiors will be spruced up and given a more contemporary appeal. As far as engine options is concerned, 2017 is a good 3 years away and Renault will definitely give a new set of engines to the Duster which are more powerful and fuel efficient.
