Renault Duster SUV facelift scheduled for early 2014

Renault Duster, the affordable SUV which has made its mark both in Indian and global markets is expected to receive a major facelift. Renault Duster facelifted model is expected to hit markets by early 2014. Renault Duster was launched in India on 4th July 2012. The company has already sold over 20,000 units in just 5 months of launch, which shows the immense popularity of this, SUV which has already become a regular in the top 15 cars sold list every month.

Renault Duster is expected to compete with the Ford EcoSport. In Brazil, these two are already fighting, but in India, the EcoSport is yet to be launched. Renault is also planning on launching the AWD variant of Duster. This will happen around the same time Ford India launches EcoSport. The facelifted Duster will share some designs with DCross Concept which was on display at the Sao Paulo Motor Show.

Renault Duster facelift will receive a new headlight design, new front grille and bumper design where its external features are concerned while interiors will also receive some fresh upgrades. The multi function touch screen display which, on the present model, is situated low on the centre console is likely to be fitted on top of the dashboard for easier access.
