Rolls Royce has been associated with powering defense machines in India for the past many years and during course of the 9th Aero India event it will showcase its iPad based technology services for customers and fans alike. This apart, Rolls Royce will also be displaying the Adour Mk871 engine that powers the CTS800 helicopter and Advanced Jet Trainer (AJT).
The AJT is developed and assembled by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited while the CTS800 is jointly developed by Rolls Royce and Honeywell. Touchscreen technology services displayed at the stand will showcase Rolls Royce’s partnership with Indian defense services as also its many services that are directed to enhance its customer base. The iPad based services will also showcase ways to improve fuel consumption and improve performance and at the same time lower costs.
Engines powering the AJT and CTS800 have been rigorously tested and tried in demanding conditions to test their efficiency in varied climatic conditions.
