Scuderia Ferrari banks on Shell Gadus greases and Shell Tellus hydraulic fluids for Ferrari F2012 car

Reducing friction and increasing fuel efficiency are the two prime reasons why Shell range of industrial lubricants is used in Scuderia Ferrari’s F2012 car. Scuderia Ferrari uses both Shell Gadus grease and Shell Tellus hydraulic fluids for the same reason. Shell has an alliance with Scuderia Ferrari racing team which goes back to 1930 and has come a long way in continually supplying the team with V-Power fuel and Shell Helix engine lubricants all through the F1 season.

The company has specially developed Shell Gadus grease formula for the F2012 which is able to keep pace with the tremendous performance, high rotation speeds and extreme temperatures while at the same time reducing friction and bringing down power loss. Shell greases and lubricants protect every moving part of these highly powerful race cars and specially in the case of the F2012 car Shell Gadus grease is used in tripod driveshaft joints and roller bearings.
