SsangYong Mahindra Rexton diesel SUV launch in India on October 17th 2012

Mahindra and Mahindra, major SUV manufacturers in the country are all set to bring out their new SsangYong Rexton SUV into Indian markets on October 17, 2012. The vehicle will be produced at the company plant in Chakan and will be launched in Mumbai followed by Delhi and Bangalore for a start while other cities will receive the Rexton SUV in a phased manner.

SsangYong Rexton is the first SUV which is being launched after Mahindras took over the Korean auto company in 2011. Rexton has seen success in major countries across the world. It possesses superbly designed interiors and offers the best in handling and performance and being offered in a diesel variant will make it an immediate hit in a country like India.

Prices are yet not revealed but being launched by Mahindra and Mahindra means that process will be in an affordable category while buyers of the new high end Sports Utility Vehicle Rexton will be able to benefit from its high performance diesel engine adding to its economy.
