Commercial vehicles wholesales for Tata, Tata Daewoo and Hispano Carrocera range were registered at 54761 units which is 3% higher than sales registered during the same period last year. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were registered at 283546 units which are higher by 2% as opposed to the same period last year.
Passenger vehicle sales were registered at 22434 units which is lower by 17% as compared to the same period last year. However, cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were registered at 134597 which is higher by 4% as compared to September 2011.
Jaguar Land Rover registered a decrease in sales by 4% with sales of 26461 units while cumulative wholesales stood at 21606 vehicles. Land Rover sales stood at 23653 units and cumulative sales stood at 139288 vehicles. Cumulative wholesale for Jaguar land Rover for the current fiscal stood at 160894 units which is 24% higher than sales registered during the last year. Fr the Indian auto market, Tat Motors will launch the Tata Indigo Manza club sedan today, and the Tata Motors Safari Storme tomorrow.

The Tata Motors Group global wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, were 103,656 nos., in September 2012, lower by 4% over September 2011. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal are 579,037, higher by 8%, compared to the corresponding period in 2011-12.
Global wholesales of all commercial vehicles – Tata, Tata Daewoo and the TataHispano Carrocera range — were 54,761 nos., in September 2012, higher by 3%, over September 2011. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were at 283,546 nos., higher by 2%, over September 2011.
Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles were at 48,895 nos., in September 2012, lower by 11%. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal are 295,491 nos., higher by 14%.
Global wholesales of Tata passenger vehicles were at 22,434 nos., for the month, lower by 17%, over September 2011. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal are at 134,597 nos., higher by 4%.
Global wholesales of Jaguar Land Rover in September 2012 were at 26,461 vehicles, lower by 4% over September 2011, which includes model year change over timings. Jaguar wholesales for the month were 2,808 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were at 21,606 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales in September 2012 were 23,653 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 139,288 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales of Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal are 160,894 nos., higher by 24%.
