Tata Motors launch 3 next gen Prima trucks at Project Qatar 2014
Tata Motors today launched 3 next-gen Priam heavy trucks in Qatar, along with its partner, Al-Hamad Automobiles at the ongoing Project Qatar 2014 at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC). Tata’s heavy commercial vehicles were tested extensively to conform with Gulf region requirements of power, durability, payload, emissions and safety, and present the Tata Motors advantage of low total cost of ownership to customers.
The global truck boasts of Italian cab design, engine technology from the USA and Europe, gearbox expertise from Germany, chassis frame know-how from Mexico, sheet metal dies from Japan and Korea, alongwith Swedish precision on a robotic weld line.

Tata Prima cabins focus on driver comfort and houses stylised interiors with a separation in terms of the drivers working and living area. On May 14, Tata Prima will lead the Middle East launching of its range of heavy trucks at the Tata Motors stand in Project Qatar.
The unveiling ceremony will be led by Indian Ambassador Sanjiv Arora and Tata Motors executive director Ravindra Pisharody.
