Tata Motors donates Safari Storme to Mijwan Welfare Society, towards Women Empowerment

Tata Motors Limited, the largest manufacturer in Indian automotive industry and leader in commercial and passenger vehicles have donated a Tata Safari Storme to Mijwan Welfare Society. This is an NGO run by Shabana Azmi and was established by her late father Kaifi Azmi, a noted Urdu poet.

The Mijwan Welfare Society works towards woman empowerment and is based in Mijwan in Azamgarh, UP, and is run by Shabana Azmi, towards Women Empowerment.

Tata Motors presented the keys to the Tata Safari Storme to Shabana Azmi, while Mr. Prabir Jha, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer and Ms. Delna Avari, Head- Marketing Communications, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit were also in attendance.

The Tata Safari Storme go anywhere SUV, is an ideal vehicle for this cause especially due to its on and off-roading facilities. It possesses a 4×4 system and is noted for its spacious interiors. The Safari Storme is equipped with a 2.2 Dicor engine with 138 bhp power and 320 Nm torque.
