Tata Nano Twist Active spotted with openable hatch

Tata Motors is doing everything in its power to make the Nano more attractive to buyers. After introducing Nano with power steering, they are now working on Nano Twist Active, which features an openable hatch. Tata Nano sales numbers have not been optimistic in the past few months and hence the company has taken on a new approach with the Nano, giving it new features and exciting new options.

Tata Nano Twist Active spotted with openable hatchTata Nano Twist Active will now come in with an openable hatch and has been recently spotted on test even while the company presented a concept at the 2014 Auto Expo. Besides openable boot, Nano Twist Active also gets electric power steering and features such as new grille, a new bonnet trim and visual graphics.

Tata Motors has also added a new front and rear bumper design to the Twist Active besides sectioned headlight with black bezel and a 24 liter fuel tank instead of a 15 liter tank seen on its current Nano model. Tata Nano Twist Active interiors are seen with Infinity Motif seat cover, color coordinated dashboard, new gear lever and a new three spoke steering wheel and air conditioning vents.

All these cosmetic changes on board the upcoming Tata Nano Twist Active will go a long way in giving the vehicle a premium feel and add more appeal to buyers who cited that unavailability of openable hatch was a major constraint. Tata Motors has carried out these modifications giving the Twist Active an opening tailgate just as is seen on board any other hatchback. It will also be the introduction of the F-Tronic AMT gearbox on board the Nano Twist Active which should appeal to buyers.
