Tata Nexon SUV is in demand for 2014 Indonesia Motor Show
Unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, Nexon SUV Concept has caught the attention of Tata Motors’ subsidiary in Indonesia. At the 2014 Indonesia International Motor Show later this year in September, Tata Indonesia wants to showcase the Nexon, and have put-in a formal application to headquarters in India as well.
Expected to be launched in India next year, Nexon is an important product for Tata Motors, who is going through one of their worst periods as far as sales is concerned. Good news is, they have already started to make progress in the right direction. Nano sales are improving post launch of Nano Twist, Zest and Bolt are nearing launch, and new staff is getting hired across their dealerships in India, which is aimed to give their customers a pleasant experience.
Speaking about Nexon, demand for compact SUVs is on the rise not only in India, but globally. This is where Nexon plays an important role. Designed by Tata Design Studios in UK, Italy and Pune, Nexon will compete with the likes of Ford EcoSport, and yet to be launched Mahindra S101, Maruti XA Alpha, etc.
Nexon is equally important to Indonesia as it is to India, as far as Tata’s growth in Indonesia is concerned. In Indonesia, Tata Motors aims to be among the top 10 car brands by 2018. In order to achieve this, Tata Motors are going to launch new products, and seeing the enthusiasm for Nexon, we are sure that Nexon will also be launched in Indoneisa post India launch.
