In the past few days, many spy photos of the Yamaha R25 have emerged online. Though most of them showed us the camouflaged version of Yamaha R25, there were some spy photos which did reveal the bike in its complete glory, but these were hazy images. Now, thanks to iotomotif, we have our first hi-res photo of the quarter litre Yamaha.

From the spy shots, it can be seen that the Yamaha R25 features dual headlamps with big visor, enhanced fairings and a sporty appeal, all giving the bike a look that will stand it in good stead against competition.

Aggressive styled front with twin headlamps, digital speedometers console with while back light, pilot lamps positioned between front headlights and LED tail lamps at the rear are some of the specifications to be seen on board Yamaha R25. Instrument cluster is a combination of analogue tachometer and digital readouts as seen on the R15 and includes information such as fuel gauge, speedometer, odometer and clock.

Engine details could include a fuel injected, parallel twin 250cc engine mated to a 6 speed transmission with peak power of 35 PS while a single cylinder for India is also a possibility. Yamaha R25 will possess a tubular frame and will measure 2000mm in length, 720mm in breadth and 1140mm in height. It will come into India as completely knock down kits and will compete against Honda CBR250R, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and upcoming KTM RC 390.
