2013 Hyundai Santa Fe seven seater India launch next yearSouth Korean auto makers, Hyundai Motors are excited about their soon to be launched, 2013 Santa Fe 3 row seven seats Sports Utility vehicle in India. The current Santa Fe in India is priced between Rs.23 lakhs РRs.26 lakhs but sales have not been upto expectations. This third generation Santa Fe, will be in a Fluidic Structure design, which is guaranteed to be more attractive than the current version.

The current Santa Fe also lacks internal space and leg room, compared to its competitors, which is another reason for it not being a crowd puller. The upcoming model will hence find more favor as the company is making alterations in space as well. Hyudai unveiled the 2013 Santa Fe seven seater option at the LA Auto Show earlier this year. 2013 Santa Fe will sport a 2.2 liter diesel engine with maximum power of 194 bhp and peak torque of 420 Nm. It will possess additional features such as navigation system, tyre pressure monitoring and self parking system while prices will be retained in the Rs.23 lakhs to Rs.25 lakhs bracket.

The new Santa Fe SUV with 3 rows will also be available in an option of 6 seats. As far as dimensions are concerned, the 2013 Santa Fe will have 3.9 inches longer wheelbase, length will be 8.5 inches longer, height will be 0.4 inches taller, and, will be 0.2 inches wider than the current 5 door model.

In India, Hyundai Santa Fe (403) competes with Honda CR-V (148), Toyota Fortuner (7,558), Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara (7), Chevrolet Captiva (306), Ford Endeavour (711), Mitsubishi Outlander (51), Nissan X-Trail (35), and Mahindra SsangYong Rexton W (NA). Figures in the bracket denote their respective sales figures for the last six months.
