Sporting exclusive design elements, the 2014 Fiat Punto comes in with a new front bumper in the same body color. However it is the interiors of the new Punto that bear most modifications. Its dash is more enhanced in both appearance and features offered and is similar to the dash present on Linea facelift slated for launch early March.
New fabrics, trims and color combinations are also evident giving the new Punto a smarter appeal. Leather seating, Tilt steering, electric door mirrors and tinted glass along with adjustable seats are being offered on the 2014 Fiat Punto while safety features include EBD, ABS, power windows, central locking and rear wiper and defogger. The new Punto has a total kerb weight of 1145 kgs and ground clearance of 185mm while its turning cycle stands at 5 meters.
Power train options do not see many changes and continue in the form of 1.2 liter and 1.4 liter petrol engines along with 1.3 liter diesel engines offering 75 ps and 90 ps variations. Automatic transmission is being offered on the European Punto but it is not sure whether this would be offered on the Punto in India.
