2014 Kawasaki Ninja 400 revealed with minor updates

Powered by a two cylinder water cooled four stroke 399 cc engine, the 2014 Ninja 400 delivers 44 PS power at 9,500 rpm and 37 Nm torque at 7,500 rpm. Weight of the bike is in the range of 209-211 kgs, depending on the model you buy. Other features included in the new variant include, redesigned flatter rear seat with better cushion, higher windscreen, dual headlights, LED taillamp. Color options include Metallic Moondust Gray / Metallic Spark Black and Candy Burnt Orange / Metallic Spark Black.

Price of the new Kawasaki Ninja 400 starts from ¥649,950 (INR 4,08,400) in Japan, where it was launched. Offered in a choice of three variants, regular, non ABS special edition, and ABS special edition. The price of latter two is at ¥669,900 and ¥720,300. Considering that the demand for superbikes is increasing 15-20% every year in India, Bajaj might be thinking of launching the Ninja 400 in India.
