2015 Ford Endeavour spied in Australia, India launch in December

The pre-production prototype of 2015 Ford Endeavour has been caught probably running errands in Australia. The SUV has been officially revealed already but the new spy shots show how the car fits in the crowd and gives a real perspective of its road presence.

Influenced by Ford Everest Concept, new Ford Endeavour has all-new bulged-up looks with shine chrome front grille and silver bumper trims on front and rear. The SUV is believed to be measuring 4,882 mm in length, 1,862 mm in width, 1,836 mm in height and 2,850 mm in wheelbase, which is shorter in length and wheelbase compared to outgoing model but has more width and height, resulting in the bulgy form factor.

Interior of new gen Ford Endeavour gets more premium accents, equipment, which includes 8-inch touchscreen display, Ford’s SYNC II infotainment system and multifunction steering wheel. Notable features include off-road assist systems like Torque On Demand, Active Transfer Case and Terrain Management System.

Among various powertrains assigned for the model, Indian spec Ford Endeavour would receive only diesel engines with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options. Thailand made CKD kits of the American SUV will be assembled at the company’s Chennai plant.
