Mercedes-AMG C 63 and Edition 1 C 63 revealed

Mercedes-AMG C 63Coming in as a four door sedan and estate format, Mercedes AMG C 63 was unveiled on Wednesday, prior to the Paris Motor Show where it is heading to be on display. Promising comfortable seating for upto five adults, plenty of cabin space and room for storage in its big boot, the new AMG C 63 continues to offer outstanding performance figures and a host of in-car comforts while promising better fuel efficiency and low auto emissions.

New C 63 is powered by a 4.0 liter bi-turbo V8 engine in two states of tunes – 470 hp & 650 Nm and 503 hp & 700 Nm (on the C 63 S). In sedan format the C 63 S can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.0 seconds while the C 63 can achieve the same in 4.1 seconds with engine mated to a Speedshift MCT 7 sport transmission. Top speed is limited at 250 kmph. Mercedes AMG C 63 sedan will be ready for sale in Europe by February 2015, while the wagon variants will be launched in April 2015.

In two body styles and two output variants, 2015 Mercedes AMG C 63 features redesigned bumpers, larger air intakes, splitter and chrome plated twin end pipes integrated into a diffuser at the rear. A prominent twin blade radiator grille with AMG lettering, AMG Ride Control Sports Suspension, electronically controlled shock absorbers, mechanical rear locking differential and AMG Dynamic Select Drive Programs in Individual, Comfort, Sport and Sport+ will also be available on the Mercedes AMG C 63.

Mercedes-AMG C 63 Edition 1 (2)Alongside the C 63 and C 63 S, Mercedes AMG will also unveil a new C 63 Edition 1 variant. This will be feature rich and will be offered only in the first year of production. On offer are 6 exclusive paint jobs for the exterior, new alloys, styling updates, red decals on front radiator grille and side rear view mirrors, Edition 1 lettering,sporty stripes on the side, and black leather interiors with red stitching.
