The 2015 Mitsubishi Pajero facelift will not see any changes in engine specs and will continue to be powered by 3.0 liter V6 petrol and 3.2 liter four cylinder turbo diesel engines. The diesel engine offers 200 hp peak power at 3,800 rpm and 441 Nm peak torque at 2,000 rpm while top speed is at 185 kmph.
2015 Mitsubishi Pajero will be offered in three variants to include VRII, Exceed and Super Exceed and is already on sale in Japan with prices starting from ¥2,921,400 (Rs 17.33 lakhs).
Exterior updates seen on 2015 Pajero SUV include LED Daytime Running Lights, a new bumper and grille, while interiors will boast of minor but exclusive changes to include metallic trim and additional sound insulation material with piano black highlights.
As far as India is concerned, Mitsubishi’s operations in India are not exactly at full steam forward. In India they have just one model on offer, the Pajero Sport which is being offered with manual gearbox. Later this year, the company promises launch of an automatic transmission variant which is assembled at the HM Plant in Tiruvallur near Chennai.
