2015 Volvo XC90 revealed in official images (Update)

2015 Volvo XC90 OfficialScheduled to make its public debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October, 2015 Volvo XC90 has now been revealed in images. Built on Volvo’s futuristic Scalable Product Architecture, the new XC90 SUV will go on sale early next year in Europe, while India launch is scheduled for later next year or early 2016.

This new platform not only makes the car lighter, but also more flexible for designers to give more room to passengers. Second gen XC90 comes with a huge touchscreen on the dash, which takes cares of all the in-car connectivity, entertainment, controls, etc. Another impressive fact is the Bowers & Wilkins audio system with 19 speakers, 7 tweeters and 4 cone woofers.

On the engine front, not much is revealed, but the top of the line 2015 Volvo XC90 will be wearing a T8 badge, and will be a hybrid with 2.0l in-line 4 turbo petrol engine and a 60 kW electric motor, which together generates 400 hp power and 640 Nm torque.
