2016 Chevrolet Spark interiors spied, distinctive instrument cluster replaced

Hot from the assembly line, new spy shots of 2016 Chevrolet Spark have surfaced online, revealing interiors for the first time. Chevrolet Spark is a rebadged Opel Karl / Vauxhall Viva, but will retain the C-pillar mounted door handles just like the way they are in the current version.

2016 Chevrolet Spark interiors show a number of changes compared to the outgoing model. Shared form Opel Karl, the dashboard and steering wheel look similar, only a few differences can be spotted, like dual tone theme and shape of centre console. But the most significantly different feature is the instrument cluster, which is entirely new, nothing like Karl’s or current Spark’s.

One of present Chevrolet Spark’s distinctive features is the motorcycle inspired instrument cluster.
It has single analogue dial for speedometer and attached LCD Multi Function Display surrounded by icons of warning lamps just like in bikes.

Next gen Chevrolet Spark ditches this for a pretty conventional three part unit, with semi-circular tachometer on the left, full-round speedo dial at the centre and rectangular LCD Multi Information Display at the right, all in the same housing.

Entire picture of 2016 Chevy Spark will be out during Seoul and New York Auto Shows, on 2nd April, 2015.
