2016 Hero Hunk facelift is strikingly similar to the existing Hero Hunk but receives new paint schemes and body graphics to tell it apart. Hero Hunk facelift sees no significant changes where dimensions are concerned. It measures 2080mm in length, 765mm in width, 1095mm in height and sits on a wheelbase measuring 1325mm. The bike weighs a total of 130kgs and receives 163mm ground clearance. Wheels are of 18” and come wrapped in tubeless tyres.
2016 Hero Hunk is seen with a new instrument console with analog tachometer, digital speedometer and side stand indicators while engine has been re-tuned for added power and performance. Front disc brakes are of 240mm dia while optional rear disc is of 220mm dia and the standard version gets a 130mm rear brake drum.
In 6 new colors of Bold Brown, Panther Black, Matte Black, Ebony Grey, Force Silver and Blazing Red, Hero Hunk is powered by a 150cc single cylinder, air cooled engine offering 15.6 bhp power at 8,500 rpm and 13.5 Nm torque at 7,000 rpm. This is a marginal increase over the 14.2 bhp and 12.8 Nm offered on its earlier counterpart.
2016 Hero Hunk could launch later this month when it competes against the likes of Honda CB Unicorn 160 and the stylish new Honda CB Hornet, Suzuki Gixxer and Yamaha FZ range.
