Honda unveiled 2017 CBF190X Touring adventure motorcycle at China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition in Chongqing. Set to join CB190R and CBF190R in the company’s sub 200cc lineup, 2017 Honda CBF190X is exclusive for Chinese markets as on date, while Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has ruled out launch in India.
2017 Honda CBF190X Touring receives an 184cc SOHC air cooled single cylinder engine offering 15 bhp peak power at 11,000 rpm and 14.9 Nm torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine gets mated to a five speed gearbox and receives single petal discs in front and at the rear.
Styled as a dual purpose sports tourer, Honda CBF190X gets an extended front cowl and grab handles while it sits on alloy wheels. Weight has been considerably reduced on the CBF190X which is now 8 kgs lighter, at a total of 148 kgs, as compared to its CBF190R counterpart.
2017 Honda CBF190X Touring is directed towards buyers in the mass market segment, is also called the ‘Fighter Hawk’ and borrows inspiration from larger capacity sports tourers. With launch in China scheduled for later this year, launch in India is ruled out while there is no word on the tourer making its way to International markets as on date. Pricing details have also not yet been disclosed.
