Audi US 24.4% sales growth for November 2012


Audi USA has reported its 23rd consecutive month of record sales. The month of November 2012 saw an increased number of sales, especially where Audi premium vehicles such as A8, A7, A6 and Q7 were concerned. During November, the company sales reached 12,067 units, an increase of 24.4% as compared to 9,700 units sold in November 2011.

Taking January to November 2012, Audi sales touched 124,469 mark as against 117,561 units in same 11 month period a year earlier, resulting in an 18.6% increase. True to its enhanced technology, superior performance and high level of luxury seen in Audi premium category vehicles such as the A8, A7, A6 and Q7, these vehicles were more in demand, with sales increasing 32.7% during the past month. Taking only Audi Q7 luxury SUV into account, sales increased 91.9% during November 2012 and a 17.8% increase during the period January to November 2012.

Audi A4 being recently updated is regarded as best selling model for the brand. This model saw a 33.7% increase in sales during the month of November registering total sales of 437 units, up from just 228 units sold in November 2011. Taking sales of Audi A5, the company saw an increase of 39.3% during November 2012 while sales of Audi A5 coupe increased 53.9% during the same month.
