Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS spied naked, to replace current 150 DTS-i?

Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS is among the list of 6 launches in 6 months by the local motorcycle maker. Pulsar 150 NS is a clear doppelganger of 200 NS, much like other imitation games played by Bajaj Auto with the earlier generation / currently selling Pulsar series.

Current price of Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i is Rs. 70,693 (ex-Delhi).

Bajaj introduced Pulsar 200 NS in the gap created by discontinuation of earlier, much loved Pulsar 200, in between Pulsar 180 and 220. With the launch of new 150 NS (Naked Sport), will the company cease production of old design yet still poplar 150 DTS-i?

Bajaj Auto seems to be a pragmatic company, at least when it comes to Pulsar brand. It gives what people want as long as they still like it.

It is highly unlikely. Bajaj is the company that sold seven variants of Discover at the same time, not long ago. Unlike Honda which discontinued the glorious Unicorn that stood up against Pulsar from the start, and made a replacement with a dull model; Bajaj, in high probability, will retain the still chart-busting Pulsar 150 and maybe even the 180 models whilst launching new pulsar 150 NS at around Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 7,000 higher ex-showroom price.
