biker honored for helping nepal

Geet Singh Bindra, an avid biker, sold his KTM Duke 390 and iPhone 6 to raise funds for the victims of Nepal earthquake, gets honoured.

More than 9,000 people lost their lives during the Nepal earthquake of 25th April 2015. Said to be the worst natural disaster to hit Nepal since 1934 Nepal-Bihar Earthquake, the world tried helping Nepal in every way possible.

One individual, Geet Singh Bindra, an avid young biker, too was amongst the countless people who were the first to reach Nepal and help victims.

In order to help monetarily, Bindra sold his brand new KTM Duke 390 along with his iPhone 6 in order to help victims of the Nepal earthquake. Bindra not only sold his prized possessions but personally rode all the way to Nepal to help those in distress.

Bikerhood Team, at a recent meet in Delhi honoured Bindra with a brand new KTM Duke 390. In recognition of his charitable efforts, Geet Singh Bindra was also declared official brand ambassador of Bikehood for the year 2015.

Bikerhood stated – “Geet is the living embodiment of our definition for the term ‘real biker’ – can you imagine how difficult it must be for a biker to make the decision to sell one’s motorcycle? And all for the purpose of charity and humanity – it’s truly amazing. When we first heard about what he had done, we were left speechless. And today, we were honored to be in the presence of a true biker.”
