Brabus Mercedes Benz A Class at Essen Motor Show 2012


Brabus has introduced a new Mercedes Benz A Class tuning program which offers a host of engine updates, aerodynamic enhancements and better suspension and performance. Brabus, the tuning company has introduced new alloy wheels with diameters of 17”, 18” and19”, sporty suspensions and exclusive interiors along with Brabus logos and anodized Brabus aluminum pedals and door lock pins.

In world debut at the 2012 Essen Motor Show, Brabus has presented this exclusive A Class with tuning program that comes in with a Brabus Tuning Warranty of 3 years or 100,000kms whichever is earlier. Better aerodynamics and all upgraded components manufactured from high grade PU plastic are seen on the A Class which is given a sportier countenance with lower ride height by about 25mm. Brabus engine development offers a smoother running along with enhanced eco friendliness while the tuning company has recommended use of high performance lubricants from MOTUL.

Tuning on A 200 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY equipped with BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D2 tuning has enhanced power output from 100 kW/136 hp to 121 kW/165 hp while torque increases from 300 Nm to 350 Nm at 2000 rpm and the Mercedes Benz A Class can now accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.9 seconds reaching a top speed of 210 to 220 kmph. Internal updates include Brabus Mastik leathers and Alcantara upholstery while customers are offered options of colors and designs as per their own preferences.
