Tata, Maruti, VW, Chevrolet, Skoda offer attractive discounts to boost sales


Purchase of a vehicle in the month of March, usually brings a host of benefits both to seller and buyer. However, this year round, sales during March have proved to be the worst in 12 years, due to which auto makers in the country are coming out with a host of discounts and offers, buyers will find difficult to resist.

For buyers, businessmen and proprietary firms, purchases of vehicles during March result in the ability to claim depreciation for the entire financial year.

March 2013 has brought with it discounts and offers, with Volkswagen enticing customers to bring in their old vehicles and Re 1 and take home a brand new Vento. Nissan is offering the lowest EMI on some of their models, while Skoda is offering an INR 8,999 EMI on purchase of its Rapid. Tata Motors is tempting customers purchasing their Manza, 60% of the purchase price back after a period of three years while Chevrolet is giving buyers of Beat benefits worth INR 38,000.

Buyers of the Toyota Innova can avail of an INR 14,999 EMI offer and exchange bonus of INR 20,000 while Maruti Suzuki is selling their Estilo at a special price of INR 3.46 lakhs and offering Ertiga with INR 40,000 worth of benefits.

Luxury car makers like Audi and Mercedes Benz too are doing their bit so that more people ca afford their cars. Audi A4 is now available at a down payment of INR 5 lakhs while Mercedes Benz C Class is offered at a down payment of INR 6 lakhs.
