Obviously food for thought, that the premium Porsche Macan could not save itself, and had to be rescued by the modest Dacia Duster. However, it is not frequent that the Porsche Macan will see itself in such a situation as no owner of the Porsche Macan will put a car of this stature to the test on these kinds of road conditions.
Built on the Audi MLP platform as is used on board the Audi Q5, Porsche Macan is powered by a 394 bhp 3.6 liter V6 engine. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.6 seconds. One can expect launch of the Porsche Macan in India by mid 2014 where it could be priced around INR 70 lakhs for the base model and go all the way upto INR 90 lakhs for the fully loaded Macan Turbo.
