Honda reveals 150cc sports racer concept at 2017 Bangkok Motor Show

A stylish design with class leading features and retro inspired accents makes up the new Honda 150SS Racer Concept.

Showcased at the 2017 Bangkok Motor Show, Honda 150SS Racer Concept has caught the attention of biking enthusiasts around the globe. Featuring a naked and sporty design, the bike could very well enter production in a year or two.

New Honda 150SS Racer Concept was noted with a massive and well sculpted fuel tank, distinctive headlamp design and low slung handlebars. It was also seen with underseat storage spaces and a transparent panel running along its rear sub frame. Premium accents extend to enhanced use of carbon fiber seen throughout its makeup right from its wheel discs to fenders.

Honda 150SS Racer Concept gets a fully digital instrument cluster and two cameras, one of which is positioned under its seat facing the rear while the other is a forward facing camera placed under its instrument cluster. Upside down forks, radial mounted front brake calipers and brake discs are a part of its design.

The production variant of Honda 150SS Racer Concept will retain most of these components with the exception of a single seat shown on the concept making way for a twin seat on its production version.

No engine details have been revealed as on date and the 150SS Racer could receive a liquid cooled engine offering around 20 bhp peak power. Once launched, it will ideally take on the new Yamaha M-Slaz, which comes equally rich feature list.
