JCB India 50,000th engine rollout in just 2 years
JCB India Limited, a leading manufacturer of earthmoving and construction equipment, has reached a major high point in just two years since launch of their first ecoMAX BSIII, 16 valve diesel engine. This engine which is build at JCB India’s Ballabgarh plant saw its 50,000 JCB engine roll out of the plant and was seen as a major achievement for the company. This highly fuel efficient engine is held in high esteem due to its low maintenance cost and also for the fact that it offers buyers high returns on investments.
The ecoMAX engine is produced in India with 93% indigenization. It is found to be a high performer specially during off highway conditions. All engines in its range are naturally aspirated, turbocharged and common rail. These world class engines is testimony of the fact that a lot of efforts have been put in by JCB teams, both from the UK and India, who have worked in conjuncture to produce these high quality engines.
These engines are fitted in Backhoe Loaders 3DX (56 KW), 3DX Super (68 KW), 4DX (68 KW), 3DX Xtra (63 KW), Excavators JS 120 (63 KW), JS210 Wheel Loaders 430ZX (97 KW), Compactors VM115 (85 KW), VMT860 (56 KW), VM115E (93 KW). JCB India is also coming up with their 4th plant in India, which is located at Jaipur. For this, the company has proposed an investment of Rs 500 crore. Besides this upcoming plant, JCB India operates one factory in Ballabgarh, Haryana and two in Pune
