Maruti Suzuki India launched three variants of their new small car, Alto 800 along with three CNG offerings, ahead of the auspicious festival of Dusshera and Diwali. It was even prior to launch on October 16th that Maruti Suzuki has already received over 10,000 bookings and it is hoped the new Alto 800 will go the same way as its Alto counterpart. Alto 800 variants – Standard , LX and LXi are also being offered in CNG variants.
Alto 800 Standard is the base model which is priced at Rs.2.44 lakhs for the petrol variant and Rs.3.19 lakhs for CNG. The LX and LX CNG are prices at Rs.2.76 lakhs and Rs.3.37 lakhs respectively. Here the model is fitted with an air conditioner and basic amenities such as remote fuel lid opener, seats are upholstered in fabric and front passenger has the comforts of a sun visor. Alto 800 LX trim has black rear bumpers and door handles but there is no power steering, no remote hatch opener and no clock.
Alto 800 LXi and CNG LXi are priced at Rs.2.99 lakhs and Rs.3.56 lakhs and is top of the line with more enhanced features as seen in the lower two models. Cabin is lined with fabric on doors while seats are upholstered in grey and black fabric.
