Maruti Ertiga Paseo Explore special edition model based on the VXi/VDi variant has been launched. Like any other Maruti special edition, the 7-seat MPV receives a set of additional elements which can be fitted at dealer level.
Visually, special edition model can be identified by side body decals, blacked out D-pillars and a body colored rear spoiler. The variant continues without alloy wheels. The interior has been bestowed with a cool/warm compartment, new seat covers, Bluetooth handsfree kit, branded sill guards, designer floor mats, and pillows. Ertiga Paseo Explore edition also offers a digital tyre inflator and reverse parking sensors.
The new special edition Ertiga celebrates sales of 2 lakh units of the compact crossover MPV. Being at the verge of introducing a facelifted version of the people carrier, Maruti could be using Paseo edition to deplete the inventory of pre-facelift model.
2016 Maruti Ertiga facelift is confirmed to be unveiled at the upcoming Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2015 in Jakarta on August 20, shortly after which it would be launched in India. The new MPV is expected to have a chrome grille, sportier bumper, new color options, additional features and improved powertrain lineup.
