Mercedes Benz C Class gets Edition C and entry level 220 CDI 4MATIC
New Mercedes Benz C Class Edition C range will also stand apart where its multimedia and telematic features are concerned. A high gloss front radiator grille, chrome trimmed darkened headlamps offer instant appeal while the C Coupe models will have AMG body styling on its front and rear apron and side sill panels.
Estate and Saloon models are fitted with 17 inch five spoke alloy wheels in high gloss black paint finish and will be shod in 225/45 R17 tyres both at the front and rear. The Coupe model along with Saloon and Estate can also be ordered with AVANTGARDE design wherein 245/40 R17 tyres can be seen at the rear.
Interiors of all three C Class Edition C models will depict an enhanced level of sportiness and style. Extensive attention is paid to minutest of details be it the sports seats in Artico man made leather or Dinamica microfiber. These seats are in a two tones combination in blue and alpaca grey with aluminum trims. A three spoke multifunction steering wheel encased in Nappa leather in contrasting stitching draws special attention. Rear seats are folding and come with backrests.
Infotainment features include COMAND online multimedia system with Live Traffic Information offering real time traffic data besides advance intimation where traffic jams and hold ups are concerned. The system also includes Media Interface, digital radio and Harman Kardon Logic surround sound system. Edition C package is priced in Germany at €1,785 ($2,325).
The new Mercedes Benz C Class C 220 CDI 4MATIC is an entry level AWD model powered by the 2.2L mill that generates 170 PS power and 400 Nm torque. It will be available in both, saloon and estate variants. Features inside include, COMAND online, Live traffic information system, SPORT button, control handling, and E/S button.
