2015 Mercedes E-Class AWD diesel and new internet system announced
Unveiled at 2013 Detroit Motor Show, 2014 Mercedes E-Class was a comprehensively modernised version of its previous iteration. The new model came to be known as the most extensive facelift car in the brand’s history.
Apart from revolutionary looks, the car sports numerous features and drive assist functions that make the sedan worth every dime. Now the Stuttgart-based company has announced two new functional additions to 2015 version of the premium executive sedan, making it more appealing than ever before.
New Mercedes E-Class AWD model will be offered with internet-enabled infotainment system that also has GPS navigation facility. The equipment will provide 4G wireless broadband internet connection capable of up to 300 Mbps download bandwidth and upload speeds of up to 75 Mbps. With such a connection, occupants could take engage themselves in video chats, listen to high-definition radio and watch mobile Television while on the go.
New variant of 2015 Mercedes E-Class to be offered is E 220 BlueTEC 4MATIC, powered by a diesel heart that can dish out 170 hp max power and 400 Nm peak torque. What’s special here is that power will be sent to all wheels. Further details / specifications of Mercedes E-Class AWD are kept in dark.
