There has been a rise in the number of vehicles on Indian roads during the past few years due to attractive offers and reasonable price ranges being proposed by auto brands. However, studies have shown that even though one may buy a car due to its reasonable price and attractive offers its still the interiors of vehicles that captivate the minds of buyers.
A study carried out by JD power Study examined responses from about 8,000 vehicle owners who have purchased vehicles during November 2011 and July 2012. This survey was carried out during the period from May to September 2012 in 25 cities. Vehicle satisfaction has been directly affecting satisfaction in the last four years.
This has resulted in an 8 point improvement considering statistics of 2011. The report also states that diesel vehicle owners are a happy lot even after the price hike due to impeccable fuel ratings. Visibility, Driving safety, Audio-video, navigation, entertainment and infotainment, fuel economy as also driving dynamic technologies are also factors which affect vehicle satisfaction.
