Leon Cupra is powered by a 2.0 liter TSI engine with dual injection and variable camshaft timing. Being offered with two output levels of 195 kW and 206 kW, and labeled as the most powerful production car, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 kmph. Average fuel consumption stands at 6.4 liters for the DSG variant and at 6.6 liters with manual gearbox, while CO2 figures are just 149 gms and 154 gms respectively, a marked reduction as seen in its predecessor.
Leon Cupra comes in with DCC dynamic chassis control, front differential locks, progressive steering and Cupra Drive Profile while it sports full LED headlamps. Interiors see a steering wheel in a unique design with shift paddles. Sport seats are done up in dark grey Alcantara with white accents while full black upholstery with white stitching is also an option along with optional bucket seats for added comfort.
Equipment on board the new Leon Cupra includes a Media System Plus with 5.8 inch color touchscreen, ambient lighting, LEDs on door panels with colored LEDs which can be adapted via Cupra Drive profile offering a red glow in Cupra mode and white as a standard setting.
