Renault India has revealed the new Fluence facelift where it was noted to sport many visual upgrades in the form of new headlights, new grille, a new set of alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and new front bumper. Interiors too have been modified to sport new gadgetry. Interiors receive a new infotainment system with satellite navigation, R Link infotainment and a new analog-digital instrument cluster.
Mechanically, the facelifted Fluence does not receive any changes and continues to be powered by a 2.0 liter petrol and 1.5 liter K9K turbo diesel engine. The petrol engine is capable of peak power of 135 bhp and 190 Nm torque while the diesel engine offers 108 bhp power and 240 Nm peak torque. The petrol mill is mated to a CVT transmission while its diesel engine is mated to a 6 speed manual.
Renault Duster SUV on display, called Adventure Edition includes new blacked out headlamps, inbuilt driving lamps and additional plastic cladding. The new Duster SUV is powered by the same engine options, currently on offer in India.
Apart from this, you can also see the KWID concept car, Megane RS, Koleos facelift. Speaking about the KWID concept car, Renault says that this is the first time they are premiering a concept outside Europe. KWID, a 5 seater (3 in front with driver in center, 2 in rear) features a rugged SUV look, and comes with flying companion. This flying companion features a camera and stream data to the car or to your phone or tablet. It is placed on the roof of the car and can fly. It can be used for navigation, checking traffic around, etc.
After launching the Koleos facelift last week, at the Auto Expo, Renault showcased the car for the first time. Priced from Rs 22.33 lakhs, Koleos found it’s first customer in the form of Salman Khan. New Koleos comes in 4×2 MT, 4×4 MT and 4×4 AT variants. At the Renault stall you will also find their F1 car and engine along with their high performance hot hatch Megane RS.
