Italian producer of luxury hand-built cars is using Alcantara to upholster the new Seiottosei interiors. The Ermini Seiottosei made its world premiere at this year’s Geneva Motor Show and is styled after the Italian Barchetta-type sports cars of the 1950s, and is a limited edition offering. Three-dimensional technique for tailor-designed horizontal-stripe motif ensures unique seat centres.

“For its new Seiottosei, Ermini chose to upholster its interiors in Alcantara,” said Giulio Cappellini. “Seiottosei is a super-sports car that’s also elegant and beautifully designed. Alcantara naturally proved to be the ideal interior-upholstery material. Its versatility and inherent durability allow us to combine a classic look with state-of-the-art technology.”

Ermini_Seiottosei (2)Cappelini noted that, Alcantara provides car makers with a unique combination of technical and functional performance features such as durability, light weight, grip and breathability.”
