Tata Prima trucks launched in Bangladesh via local partner Nitol Motors
Tata Motors, leading automobile manufacturers in India have taken four of their next generation Prima heavy commercial vehicles to Bangladesh for the very first time. These new launches include Prima LX 2523.K in the Tipper segment while in the Cargo segment it is the Prima LX 2523.T, Prima LX 4023.S and Prima LX 4923. Each of these commercial vehicles have varied combinations of drivelines and capable of different applications.
Tata Prima trucks are produced by Tata Daewoo, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors of India. These trucks sets standards in the segment due to its world class performance, high level of fuel efficiency and enhanced safety and technology features found on board. It is for these reasons that the Prima range of trucks have received multiple awards and hence referred to as the ‘World-Smart Truck’ by Tata Motors.
Tata Prima range is designed with inputs from across the globe. It receives an Italian cab design coupled with engine technology from the US and Europe while gearbox inputs come from US and India along with chassis knowhow from Mexico. There are sheet metal dyes that come in from Japan and Korea while Swedish precision is seen in its robotic weld line.
Interiors of each of these offerings in the Prima World-Smart Truck boasts of special attention to driver comforts. The cockpit is functional, attractive and air-conditioned while seats sport arm rests and are reclining along with an adjustable steering wheel for added driver comforts.
An updated music system and Global Positioning System are standard on all models. Capable of outstanding performance on all types of terrain, the new range of Tata Prima trucks are ideally suited for miners, transporters and owner drivers for movement of goods and material over long distances. Fitted with high performance fuel efficient engines, the Prima range is among the lowest where total cost of ownership is concerned.
