TVS Motors has officially launched the new Apache 310 motorcycle in India. It carries a price tag of Rs 2.05 lakhs, ex-showroom. This highly anticipated sports bike is noted with features borrowed from its concept and also includes some aggressive changes in design.
TVS Apache 310 sports an aerodynamic front fairing, an expansive windscreen, split headlamp and projector beams. It also sports a sleek rear section, seating for two persons, an LED tail lamp and alloy wheels fitted with wide Michelin Street Sport tyres measuring 110/70 front and 150/60 rear. Braking is conducted via 300mm front and 240mm rear pearl disc brakes and it also gets dual channel anti-lock braking system as standard and Electronic Fuel Injection.
TVS Apache RR310 is powered by a 312.2cc liquid cooled, single cylinder engine that also powers BMW G 310R which is produced in India at the TVS facility. This engine offers 34 PS power at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm torque at 7,700 rpm mated to a 6 speed gearbox. This engine allows acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.17 seconds and a top speed of 160 kmph. Offered in two color options of Racing Red and Sinister Black, the TVS Apache RR310 is slotted in between the KTM RC 200 and the KTM RC 390.
