TVS Apache RTR 160 and RTR 180 motorcycle launched: Starting Price Rs 67,505 (Photos)
TVS Motors, the fourth largest two wheeler manufacturer in India, has launched their all new Apache RTR Motorcycle series in India. In all, three variants have been launched, RTR 160, RTR 180 and RTR 180 with ABS. Price of Apache RTR 160 is Rs 67,505, Apache RTR 180 costs Rs 72,090 and top of the line Apache RTR 180 ABS is priced at Rs 82,780. All prices here are ex-showroom, New Delhi.
For the past few weeks, TVS Apache motorcycle has been the new buzz in town. Every motorcycle enthusiast wanted to know what upgrades the new Apache series will be offering. To start with, the new Apache motorcycles will have LED illumination in the front and pilot headlamps. According to TVS Motors, these are, “the one-of-its kind pilot lamps, inspired by the ‘eye of fury’ – which consists of LED light guide technology combined with new pilot lamps to form a pair of intense animalistic eyes that is activated on ignition, night or day.”
Then there is a new blue back-lit instrument control which not only looks stylish but has been made using carbon fiber. Air scoops and fuel tank have a new design and we have to say that they make the new Apache motorcycle look even more aerodynamic. In fact, topspeed of RTR 160 has been increased to 118 kmph while top speed of RTR 180 now stands at 124 kmph. RTR 160’s engine generates peak power of 15.2 PS whereas that of RTR 180 generates 17.03 PS.

TVS Apache 160 motorcycle will be available in four dual tone color choices – yellow & black, grey & black, red & black, and green & black while the new RTR 180 without ABS will have white, black, grey and yellow color options whereas RTR 180 with ABS will only be available in black and white.
