Volvo XC90 Excellence debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show last year, and begins its European journey at Geneva Motor Show 2016. Volvo has selected some markets to launch the Excellence.
Volvo XC90 Excellence T8 Twin Engine plug-in hybrid powertrain gets the Excellence going. The three drive modes are Pure, Hybrid and Power. Volvo XC90 Excellence interiors are resplendent in top quality upholstery, extended leather-covered surfaces, sound insulation and a Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system. The top end offering sticks determinately to comfort and calm. Pirelli Noise Cancelling System tires further helps with noise reduction.
Rear passengers have a similar experience to front row passengers with individual and adjustable seats. In keeping with the luxury premise, back seats have a massage function and headrests are special design offerings. Rear seat passengers have easy access to folding tables stored in the arm rest, cup holders with heating and cooling options and Orrefors crystal glasses.
Interiors are one notch up than the not so luxury variant with footrests, ambient lighting, and a dividing screen for the rear cargo area. Top of the line Volvo XC90 Excellence generates interest from the automaker’s more affluent customers. Volvo XC90 Excellence is being sold in Switzerland, France, Belgium and Luxembourg. China will soon be added as a sales market.
